SS8 Students complete written homework assignment #1–read text, chapt. 2 section 2 and take reading notes using the “reading log” workshheet. Due tomorrow (9/22) at the beginning of the period.

SS6 Study for the quiz scheduled for this Wednesday (9/23).  IMPORTANT!  Quiz will feature chapt. 1 lessons 1 and 2 only.

SS8 Study for Thurs./Fri. bloc quiz dealing with the New World explorers. Refer to in-class assign, #1. “0″ period will take the test tomorrow (Thurs.), 6th period will take the test Friday because of bloc schedule.

SS6 Students complete written assign. #1–a geography skills worksheet dealing with interpreting lines, labels, and symbols on a map. Due Thurs./Fri. bloc (periods 1,3,5 due Thurs., period 2 due Fri. because of bloc schedule).

SS8 Students read text–chapt. 2 section 1. Quiz tentatively scheduled for this Thurs./Fri. bloc dealing with the explorers (inclass #1).
