SS8 No homework.  Remember this Friday is the last day of this 6 week grading period. There’s still a chance to get some partial credit for late homework and/or make up quizzes or chapt. tests.

SS6 Start studying for the chapt. 3, 4 test scheduled for Tues. or Wed. next week. Also remember this Fri. is the last day for this 6 week grading period. Any late homework? Quizzes or chapt. tests to make up?

Tuesday 11/27 (Homework etc.)

SS8 HW #6 Read and complete (answer the 10 questions on the back) Early Stages of the War-1776-1777. Due tomorrow 11/28 for 5 pts.

SS6 HW #6 Complete matching/short answer review activity dealing with ancient Assyria (ch. 4.2). Due tomorro 11/28 for 5 pts.  Remember the chapt. 3, 4 test is scheduled for Tues. or Wed. of next week.

Monday 11/26 (Homework etc.)

SS8 Read text–chapt. 7 section 1. Remember to pay attention to your chapt. 7 Review (impt. people and things).

SS6 Reread text–chapt. 4 lesson 3.  Remember to pay attention to your chapt. 4 Review (impt. people and things).  The chapt. 3, 4 test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday next week 12/4.

Tuesday 11/20 (Homework etc.)

SS8 No homework.  Ch. 5,6 test results should be on Aries by thurs. or fri. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday!

SS8 Study for tomorrow’s Chapt. 5, 6 test.

SS6 No homework. Students should have read up through chapt. 4 lesson 3 by now.

Thursday 11/15, Friday 11/16 (Homework etc.)

SS8 Continue to study for next Tuesday’s (11/20) chapt. 5, 6 test.

SS6 No homework. Possible chapt. 4 quiz on Tues. 11/20. I’ll announce on Monday whether it’s on or off.                                         

Wednesday 11/14 (Homework etc.)

SS8 Start studying! The chapt. 5, 6 test in on for next Tues. 11/20. Students received a very helpful review sheet today.  I recommeded that they pay attention to the first 12 tonight in order to get a head start with preparation.

SS6 Students read text–chapt. 4 lesson 3. Don’t forget to pay attention to your chapt. 4 review (people and vocab.)

Tuesday 11/13 (Homework etc.)

SS8 No homework–Please note. . .I have postponed the chapt. 5, 6 test to Tues. 11/20.  Because of the timing,–short week this past week, the 20th being the day before Thanksgiving vacation etc., I may decide to give a quiz instead of a chapt. test. If it ends up being a quiz, I will give the chapt. test after we get back. This will give us a chance to wrap things up and review before the test after vacation.
