SS8 Read text–chapt. 6 section 1.  Students received the chapt. 6 “review sheet” (people and things) today. Pay attention to the first group (6.1) as you read section 1 tonight.

Monday 10/29 (Homework etc.)

SS8 Read text–chapt. 5 section 3. Try to answer the question. . .”Why did the relationship between England and her colonies change so drastically after/as a result of the French and Indian War?” for Tuesday discussion. You don’t have to write out the response–just think about it as you read.

SS6 Written HW #5. Read text–chapt. 3 lesson 2.  Take reading notes using the Reading Log worksheet format.

SS8 Students read text–chapt. 5 section 2

SS6 Students read text–chapt. 3 lesson 2.  We started our unit on Mesopotamia today (chapts. 3 and 4).  Students received a chapt. 3 overview/review sheet after the chapt. 2 test last week.  Final results of the chapt. 2 test will hopefully be posted on aries by the end of the week. PLEASE NOTE that the results of the chapt. 2 test will not be posted in time to impact the first 6 week progress report.

Thurs. 10/18 or Fri. 10/19 (Homework etc.)

SS8 No homework.  We started chapt. 5 today–check for ch. 5 “review” sheet.                    

SS6 Read text–chapt. 3 lesson 1 only if you didn’t get it done in class today after you finished the test.

SS8 Read text: chapt. 5 section 1–students received a chapt. 5 review sheet today after the test.  Check Aries for ch. 3, 4 test results.

SS6 Study for the chapt. 2 test tomorrow or Friday depending on bloc schedule.

SS8 Study for tomorrow’s chapt. 3, 4 test.  In-class packet for chapts. 3, 4 also due.

SS6 Continue to study for Thurs. 10/18 or Fri. 10/19 (bloc) chapt. 2 test.
